We're looking for a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our growing workshop team in Leyland, Lancashire.
At SW Motorsports, we specialise in the manufacture and installation of custom roll cages and race car chassis preparation for all forms of motorsport – from rally and circuit cars to serious track-day machines. No two projects are the same, and you'll have the opportunity to work on everything from club-level builds to world-class competition cars.
What we're looking for:
✅ Strong MIG welding skills (essential)
✅ TIG welding experience (preferred)
✅ Aluminium welding experience (a bonus)
✅ High-quality sheet metal fabrication skills
✅ Passion for motorsport and engineering excellence
Experience fabricating and welding roll cages would be advantageous, but isn't essential if you have the right fabrication background and attitude.
Bonus skills we'd love to see:
• Press brake operation
• Laser cutting experience
• Machining experience
• CAD skills
• CNC machine operation
The ideal candidate:
You're a skilled fabricator who takes pride in your work, has an eye for detail, and genuinely enjoys motorsport. Whether it's building a World Time Attack contender or fabricating a bespoke half cage for a track-day car, you'll be excited by the challenge and committed to producing work to the highest standard.
