Moonstone opened 12th January 2013. We stock Handmade gifts, Fair Trade Clothing, Accessories & much Bespoke orders are also welcome, lots of colours available.

There will be a wide range of gifts from Babies right through to Adult Men's & Women's. There will be a wide selection of hand made sock bouquets, baby gift boxes, also gift baskets coming soon. There will be Nappy cakes from mini to three tier, also towel cakes for all occasions made from 100% Egyptian cotton towels (500gsm weight). All Towel cakes consist of 6 pieces, 2 face towels, 2 hand towel

s & 2 bath towels. There will be a wide variety of clothing from Namaste, handmade broaches for adults and children. Felt purses & bags, also knit & crochet handbags & scarves, also a wide selection of Indian cotton scarves also from Namaste. Our prices start from as little as £2.49 - around £30. Two jackets completed and ready to send off. Love the choice of colour combinations chosen, grape and raspberry for the first sounds good enough to eat. Then red and cream for a seasonal colour combination. Someone is going to be nice and snug in this cold weather.

Christmas wreath, handmade. Filled out with lots of hand cut and tied tulle in Ivory, blended with traditional Christmas coloured ribbons, red ribbon has merry Christmas printed on it in gold print. Deep green 1.5” satin ribbon bow’s and plain gold satin ribbon to finish. Set in the centre is a handmade needle felted Christmas mitten (just over 3” in length, just under 3” in width) decorated with little silver and white snow flakes, accented with diamanté or not which do you prefer? These can be made in colours of your choice and I will be showing more examples soon.

Been working on a this crochet pattern, testing it for a lovely new designer over this last week. This is a lovely pattern for age 0-6 months baby. The pattern is written very well and very easy to understand. I really enjoyed testing this for “Two Bears&Me Patterns”. It’s not wonky donkey, it’s wonky doggy 😍.

After a little tutorial from grandma on needle felting last night, my 2 grand daughters spent some of last night and most of today creating their first ever creation. They didn’t ask for any extra help, blended their own wool colour & took there own photos. They found the picture on the internet, it was a joint effort between them. I don’t think you did a bad job Brooke Leigh Barnes (12 years) & Kacey Leigh Moss (15 years). What does everyone else think?

Been a busy bee this morning washing, rinsing, picking and laying out to dry half of a texel fleece from Hollie Storey. Weather permitting the 2nd half will be washed tomorrow. It’s come out great for a first attempt, thanks to my mum (Margaret Tetlow) for your help x x.

Happy Friday everyone, this is my first ever bunny. He is nearly finished but needs a couple of bits. Do you think he needs a tail? I was thinking a off white, but would love 💕 to know what you think. He will be my 3rd completed 3D needle felted make and stands 10.5” tall and will be fixed on a wooden base once fully complete. What do you think!

Happy Sunday everyone. Just finished this. My first cat, I’m not sure about her what do you think. Only my 2nd ever 3D make. Sorry not fantastic pictures, couldn’t get light right. Would love to know what you think about her x x.

This is my first ever make of a 3D project. I lost count of how many times I stabbed myself, nearly as many as I stabbed my project I think lol. Although she was very brave and didn’t shout when I stabbed her. I am quiet pleased with how it has turned out. Can you tell what it is!
