Skylark After many happy years selling books, prints and crafts, the time has come for Skylark to close in Lewes. I hope to open in another location soon.

I would like to thank all our wonderful customers over 19 years. Watch this space! Offering everything from award-winning fiction to the finest new travel, memoir, history, arts and sciences writing, we pride ourselves on our careful selection of quality titles. We also support regular literary and speaking events around town, not least the Needlewriters reading programme in the lovely cafe next d

oor! Books are only half the story here though, and if you visit you might find yourself walking away with an Indian rug, some courgette seeds, the latest album from Ojos de Brujos, seaglass earrings or some recycled glasses from Bolivia!
