We stock a range of fiction, non-fiction, children's books, cookery, graphic novels and manga.

Here at BOOK, we don’t think there should be a limit on how many books you can buy, so these pocket-sized editions are the perfect solution!📚

Inspired by Japanese commuter pocket novels, these tiny books are small enough to fit in your pocket — or, in our case, all six in one hand!😂

Some might say they’re dangerous for the bank account, but we think they’re perfect for reading on the go. We’ve got six different titles in stock, so pop into the shop and see if you can spot these teeny-tiny books amongst the shelves. 👀

In case anyone was wondering what we get up to when the shop’s a little quieter… 🌈

Our Little People, BIG DREAMS shelves were already full to bursting, but we couldn’t resist rearranging them into rainbow order. It’s certainly a treat for the eyes!

We’re aware this goes against the bookseller’s unwritten rule of putting everything in alphabetical order, but I think we can make an exception here…

Although we can’t help but feel we must have more! Are there any titles you think we’re missing, or any that you’d like to add to your collection?

Our Children’s section is definitely the most colourful corner of the shop! 🌈

With only a couple of weeks left of the summer holidays, it’s time to stock up on your kids’ favourite books. From renowned series such as Skandar and Percy Jackson, and hilarious graphic novels like Bunny vs Monkey (a firm favourite amongst our younger customers!), to engaging board books for the little ones and classics such as Winnie-the-Pooh and Beatrix Potter, we have it all here at Book!

To tie in with the release of The Odyssey, we’ve had a rummage through the shelves to find some of our favourite Greek mythology books!⚡

Whether you want to swot up before watching the film, see how faithful it was to the original afterwards (check out Circe to discover what the film didn’t include… 👀), or simply give your children a taste of Greek mythology, we’ve got something for everyone here at Book Leighton Buzzard.

One of the many perks of working in a bookshop? Receiving proof copies of books before they’re published! 📚

Proofs are early editions sent to booksellers ahead of publication, giving us a chance to discover exciting new reads before they hit the shelves (and, of course, recommend them to you!).

Last night, we had the pleasure of hosting local author Susannah Hockham as she launched her debut novel, A Moment in the Maldives!🌴

We had a great turnout and got to hear a (PG!) excerpt from Susannah’s book, as well as ask some burning questions about the novel and her writing journey.

Thank you to Susannah Hockham for choosing our bookshop for your launch – it was an honour to be part of such a special evening!

IMPORTANT NEWS: Due to the England squad's success against Norway on Saturday, our nation's team is set to be playing again this Wednesday.

As such, we've shifted our exciting upcoming event with author Susannah Hockham to the earlier start time of 7:00pm so that it no longer clashes.
