Gin maker Warner Edwards has added to its range with the launch of a new ‘honeybee’ flavoured spirit.

The bees have now formed a cluster and will rarely venture out of the hive until spring. We have been busy wrapping the hives ready for winter.

The From The Hive bees are busy preparing their hives ready for winter.
🐝 the worker bees throw the drone bees out of the hive so they don’t use up valuable stores of honey. Their job is done.
🐝 the queen has stopped laying eggs and the population has greatly decreased.
🐝 we are checking the stores of honey, and if the bees don’t have enough we will start feeding them throughout the winter months.
