Home after a great weekend racing at RC Track. Special mention to Neil Griffin Ryan Griffin and Robin. Track was epic
Onto the racing and with 2 rounds of quali on Saturday the boys got 2 strong rounds in guaranteeing top 7 finishes.
Oliver Whittleston managed to claim overall TQ and pole with his Horman HT4 after quali on Sunday and Zach would line up in P5 in the SC Final with his Losi 5ive-T
Oliver got a great start and after 5 minutes had built a 15 second lead before making a small error over the jump which broke his rear shock tower. He managed to hold onto 1st until around 12 mins to go when Karl Norris finally passed him for the win. Oliver somehow kept the car on the track and finished 2nd with some unbelievable driving give the damage to the car. Pic below of the damage!
Zach again for a good start and was running has high as P3 but settled into a P5 position before been taken out by a lapped car. This broken a rear shock and a blown tyre but managed to bring it home in P5 and take 2nd place clubman and 2nd place junior.
The track was extremely challenging due to the rain overnight so was brilliant driving from all racers.
