Welcome to OK Comics, the award-winning bookshop in Leeds City Centre specialising in comics and graphic novels.
We stock a wide range of genres; crime, horror, fantasy, superheroes, autobiography, manga, European translations, westerns, sci-fi, espionage, teen drama, classic reprints, drugs, booze, humor, medicine... etc
We have stuff related to TV, movies, games, and a new section of graphic novels associated with series streaming on Netflix etc...
There is an ever-growing selection of non-fiction books about science, music, geography, history, politics, gender issues, black history, food & drink.
OK Comics has books for a wide age range, from young pre-school kids to older folks looking for something nostalgic.
Our children and young adult section is constantly growing, and we're happy to talk parents and teachers through what's suitable for what age group.
- Free Graphic Novels
Every time you buy a book from our high street store priced between £10 and £25 we will stamp your card. When you have ten stamps, you can get a free book of your choice up to £25.
- New Stuff and Subscriptions
We have newly released comics and graphic novels arriving, from the UK and the US, every week, and we offer a free subscription service. New comics can be reserved as soon as they arrive, for in-store pick-up or mail-order.
- Webshop
Our online store is getting bigger each week, with new stuff being added regularly. We aim to dispatch orders within 24 hours of them being placed. We can take pre-orders for upcoming items, and you can now purchase items online for in-store pick-up.
- Top Ten
We display a regularly updated range of what we consider to be the ten best books. The theme of the range often changes too.
- Competitions
You can win all the books in our Top Ten. All you have to do is follow us on all three of our social media platforms (facebook, twitter, and Instagram), or have a monthly comic subscription with us.
- Limited Edition Exclusives
We have a constantly increasing range of OK Comics Exclusive Signed Bookplate Editions, that are not available anywhere else.
- Libraries and schools
OK Comics offers a library and school service. We can provide books upon request, or we can curate a bespoke range for each individual establishment's requirements and budget.
- Old Comics
We're constantly adding to our back issue section. With the exception of a small range of 'wall books' all our old comics are currently 50p each.
You can find us in Thornton's Arcade, one of the covered Victorian shopping streets, just off Briggate in Leeds City Centre.
