💔Today I was asked to go to Leeds General Infirmary to help a fellow potter’s friend whose husband, Andrew, is critically ill following a terrible motorcycle accident.

I spent some time in ICU taking handprints and creating little keepsakes for his family to treasure. I also helped make a cast from a kit they had with them.

It was incredibly emotional, and I can't really put into words what it was like being there.

Andrew’s wife Emma has recently finished maternity leave, and with everything this family is facing, the financial pressure is understandably enormous.

A GoFundMe has been set up with Emma’s permission to help the family through this incredibly difficult time.

If you can spare even a few pounds, I would be so grateful if you could donate. ❤️ Every little bit helps.

And if you can't donate, please share this post — you never know who might be able to help.

The GoFundMe link is in the comments below. ❤️

Sending all my love and strength to Andrew, Emma and their family. xx

🥹💗 A WHOLE YEAR AT OUR NEW HOME! 💗🥹

I’m a little late posting this… because somehow I completely let the date pass me by! 🙈

But on 5th July, we officially celebrated ONE YEAR at our new studio! 🎉

One whole year since we packed up the old Little Biscuit where we were for 4 years, and moved into our much bigger home.

And what a year it has been! 🥹

We’ve gone from 14 seats to 36… welcomed so many new faces… painted thousands of pieces of pottery… introduced glass fusing and clay workshops… hosted parties, events, nights out, children’s sessions and so many special occasions.

There have been amazing days, stressful days, “what on earth am I doing?” days 😂 — and plenty of hard work behind the scenes.

But when I look back, what makes me happiest isn’t just how much the business has grown. It’s the people who have become part of The Little Biscuit. 💗

I’m so incredibly lucky to have a wonderful team around me who help keep everything running, care about the studio and jump in wherever they’re needed. I honestly couldn’t do it without them, and not forgetting my amazing husband 🥰

And then there are our wonderful customers. 🫶

So many of you started as customers and have become regular visitors — and some have even become friends. ❤️

We have customers who pop in just for a coffee, families who come back time and time again, people who celebrate birthdays and special occasions with us, and those familiar faces where we already know what they’re going to order! 😂

That’s the bit I never expected when I started The Little Biscuit that it would become a little community of its own.

Every booking, every piece of pottery you’ve painted, every coffee you’ve bought, every recommendation, review, share and return visit has helped make this place what it is.

So, although I’m a month late… 😂

Happy 1st birthday to our new studio! 🎂🎉

I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve built over the last year, and even more grateful for all the people who have been part of it.

Thank you to my amazing team and my amazing husband.
Thank you to our wonderful customers.
And thank you to everyone who has supported The Little Biscuit along the way. 💗

And one little favour… 💗

If you love The Little Biscuit, please keep sharing us with your friends, family, workplaces, school groups and clubs.

Every share takes us beyond our own reach and helps someone new discover us. 🥰

It might only take a couple of seconds, but to a small local business, it really does make a difference.

Thank you for helping us spread the word. ❤️
