One of the next model railway shows coming up shortly is the Astolat Model Railway Club exhibition in Guildford. This is happening 12th July 2026 and will be nice and local to us, so if you’re in our area then it’s definitely worth a visit.

Hello 👋 We’re not open yet as you know, hence the more casual vibe but we’ll be open again next week, just a tad later than planned at the moment 🥲

So currently we will be reopening our doors on Thursday the 11th of June not the 9th as we hoped.

The building is looking more normal today, with the rendering going on in different layers and grid meshing in between to help with structural integrity.

To make sure that the shop will be ready to open next week you will need front door access but they don’t think that will be possible till Thursday.

Mail order via our website is still available thanks to Sally if you’d like to buy anything👌 Thanks for your patience and understanding, we will keep you updated 🙂

Enjoying our week off, we have had a chance to go through some more of the pictures from our first ever Model Railway show.

It highlights what we love so much about running our little model shop in the Surrey hills. What it is that’s so great about this hobby, the thing that keeps us going and sharing our passion for modelling engineering, design and creativity. And that is you, all of our customers, followers and friends 😊
