🌟It's finally time to announce our Rule of Cool Painting Competition Winners! 🌟 Voting was close but the winner of the vote for Coolest Concept decided by the public was Martin Cargill, with the amazing 'Krankett Metalclaw on Skaven Airship'! A truly terrifying behemoth, and certainly bound to bring back a fear of pirates to anyone sailing the clouds...

The award for the best painted model in the public vote went to the 'Terminator 1984' model by Alex, with some real neon and club Tech Noir vibes - might have changed the outcome in the film of the same name considerably!

Both winners grab a rare set of Iron Warriors Dice and a £20 voucher each to spend on any Warhammer kit they like at Wild Gifts.

Finally the small model award went to the Pinky and the Brain model by Simone Davey, which made amazing use of detail, textures and highlights to give a real sense of character - also taking home a £20 voucher.

Congratulations to all our winners and thanks to everybody who took part and voted as well, the voting was again very close but all the models received some great comments and inspired those that came in to look as well!

Finally, don't forget it's just weeks away from the release of the 11th Edition Armageddon boxed set - this amazing value set can be grabbed at 15% off the RRP, and is over 300% better value than buying the contents separately! Voting is now open for our 'Rule of Cool' Warhammer Painting Competition! We'll be adding some more photos over the course of the next fortnight but all you need to do is pop in to place your votes for your choice of winner!

There have been some truly amazing entries from the fearsome and fiery Dragon, striking neon Terminator 1984, the fleet of foot Watch Captain Gabriel, imposing (and slightly updated!) Ork Mumakil, Krankett Metalclaw on the towering Skaven Airship, the virulent Pinky and the Brain, the oddly familiar looking law enforcing Robo-White Scar, to the brutally cunning Ork Warboss with a vicious Attack Squig...

Finally we also have our prize draw winner to announce, and taking away the brand new Legio Custodes Shield Captain miniature is Harry Prior, congratulations!

There's still time to enter our Rule of Cool Painting Competition, with models open for voting on the 2nd May - enter whatever Warhammer model you like, just as long as it presents something unexpected or different! This week sees the return of two figures perfect for Rule of Cool - Commissar Yarrick has cheated death and stormed back to the front lines, just in time to face down Wazdakka Gutsmek (unsurprisingly an Ork - but in this case one of the greatest Speed Freaks alive, atop his warbike Big Revva!) ...

Adding to some amazing characters are Intranzia Fraye, mounted on her walking war machine, Commissar Graves and the Armageddon Battalion for Astra Militarum and a Speedwaaaagh detachment for Orks to boot!

This week's Warhammer releases see a range of imposing units for Legio Custodes on the way... The new Shield Captain leads the vanguard, with Custodian Guard, Sentinel Guard and Venatari Sodalities alongside. There's also the new release of the Custodian Dreadnought which can build two versions, either Achillus or Galatus - a real centrepiece for your forces!
Finally the Coronus Grav Carrier and Caladius Grav Tank and Annihilator ensure forces can be deployed rapidly with the firepower needed in support to match...
