Every autumn, The Snail of Happiness shop window is home to our coral reef - hyperbolic crochet (and a bit of knitting) made from scrap yarn as well as all sorts of creatures.
Every year we try to add to it and this year is no different. I've made a few new corals over the past week, but we can always use more. If you'd like to help us out, the pattern sheet is available as a free download on our web site.
The reef always has some visitors, so if you have any sea creatures that would like a change of scene, we'd love to borrow them for September and October.

I always prep for classes, but our next one has taken more time than usual.
On Sunday (16 August) we're making bags with a frame. So, I spent all of yesterday making bags to different stages to show my learners.
Trouble is I really like them and would love to finish them all so I could use them!
