finally put up bar a square I’ll do tomorrow, new shop sign up bar the underline again job for tomorrow. New tv to go in right window, and Perspex for the left window. Shelving to do next week as cba at min aha.

Got a little square to put up, fit the new larger higher resolution tv in counter side window and that will be it till next week when fitting the Perspex window to left hand side.

Xbox controller thumb stick replaced. Only last week had the right stick done now in for the left. 😜

Important update!

From today. I no longer fit screens already refurbished. I already don’t fit non genuine/budget screens but now this includes genuine refurbished screens that can’t be synced to device. It’s screen from manufacturer or if the screen is refurbish-able then that’s fine.

This is due to the under 16s social media ban coming into effect next year.

Sounds odd, but as of iOS/ipados 27.1 and it’s new age verification features, if a part is changed and not re synced to device, device will get flagged as tampered with and lock you out of the security features that allow you to verify your age with social media platforms in turn locking you out of all social media platforms.

This applies to so far apple and Samsung but as history shows the rest of manufacturers will follow suit.

Sorry for any inconvenience caused. Last thing I need or want is a raging Karen giving me jip because she can’t use Facebook anymore. Sod that for a dollar aha

had been to another shop locally and hdmi had failed with in four months of customer having it. I did suggest taking it back for warranty but she didn’t want to stating that the previous place didn’t clean it and it’s was over heating.

A full service is included with our hdmi port repairs as the console is already apart so why not.

At least it save the console coming back to me.

So from now on I’m recommending no one as ones too expensive (£650 quote for a dell laptop lid) you off thy rocker laddo aha and the place they took this ps5 too didn’t re apply the Liquid Metal. Poor service imo. So yeh forget the rest, come to the best!!
