We’re turning up the excitement with a spectacular Carnival Spectacular! From elite international talent to interactive workshops, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

More great news for Kirkby! The Works will be opening on St Chad's Parade in just a few weeks' time.

The Works will be bringing its extensive range of affordable books, arts and crafts, toys, games, stationery and family gifts to the town, with the opening date expected to be Thursday, 27 August.

It adds further diversity to the town centre, and an offer which now includes traditional retail as well as family-friendly activities, childcare providers, places to meet, learn new skills and take part in activities such as Pilates. Plus, a second phase of retail development is underway, which will soon see Lidl open on Telegraph Way.

It means more choice for shoppers, and even more reasons to pay Kirkby town centre a visit!

✨ Aerial & Lollipop Hoop workshops and performances

✨ A spectacular roller-skating performance by Paul Curran & Kirkby’s very own Louise Dutton
