Today I'm sharing something that's very close to my heart.

This is Chester, a beautiful lurcher who is battling an autoimmune disease. His family have already spent over £7,000 on veterinary treatment, and his ongoing care is costing around £1,000 every month. They've been selling their belongings just to keep up with the vet bills and give Chester the chance he deserves.

As someone who also lives with an autoimmune disease, this really resonates with me. I know how cruel and unpredictable these illnesses can be, and while we can explain how we feel, our pets can't.
