My plan this year is to make things using fabric I already have - here are two items from some of the small pieces of fabric I have - a t-shirt for when the nice weather finally comes 🤞🏻 and a bag for my current embroidery, keeping it neat, tidy and to hand 😀

First make of the new year - due to necessity 😁 my peg pinny broke while hanging out the washing so had to make a replacement. A nice quick and easy make to start the year and a good way to use up some of my fabric stash 😉

This was made at our Thursday sewing group. It’s a very useful bag to hold the makers sewing equipment with handy pockets inside and out. It’s embellished with a sanntangle design on the outer pockets. It also helped to reduce her fabric stash 😀

There is a new fabric shop in Beverley!! 😀 It has been open around 6 months and the owner is slowly building up her collection. However, she already has a lovely range, including some dress making fabrics. Go take a look, she is in St Mary’s Court near North Bar.
