A huge thank you to Northern for taking such good care of us on our recent business trips. 🚆💙💛

It’s always a pleasure travelling with you, and yesterday’s journey from Hull to Bridlington for our Cardz Unique x Sweet Shack promo day was smooth, comfortable and really enjoyable.

We had a brilliant day bringing our Beach Mix campaign to the seaside, capturing content, showcasing the pouch and making the most of the journey along the way. From the train to the coast, it all became part of the story.

Friendly service, easy travel and the perfect way to get us where we needed to be - thank you again, Northern.

Life in the Wings celebrates the people, stories and creativity behind the curtain, interviewing a wonderful range of theatre creatives from across the industry — from actors and choreographers to directors and more.

To mark this collaboration, we’ve created bespoke branded sweet pouches inspired by the world of theatre, spotlight moments, backstage stories and the magic that happens beyond the stage.

BEACH MIX has officially landed! ☀️🍬🌊

After months of planning, picking, testing and tweaking, our bespoke beach mix sweet pouch is finally here — and we couldn’t be more excited to share it.

Beach Mix is bright, colourful, full of summer personality and inspired by everything we love about seaside days — sunny skies, beach walks, sweet treats, golden sunsets and those little holiday moments that make you smile.

So naturally, we had to take it on a proper seaside adventure… and where better than Bridlington for our Beach Mix promo day? 🌴

We packed the sweets, grabbed the camera, headed for the coast and set off for a day of seaside photos, laughter, sunshine and a few very questionable ideas.

The biggest one?

The giant beach ball. 😂

Because apparently, no Beach Mix promo day is complete without someone deciding we needed a beach ball big enough to cause a scene. It sounded fun. It looked fun. But then came the small matter of actually blowing it up.

And honestly… who’s bright idea was that one?

There we were, by the seaside, trying to inflate what felt like the world’s most dramatic beach ball, wondering whether it was going to be ready for the photoshoot or still half-flat by next summer.

But once it was finally inflated, it brought exactly the energy we wanted — fun, colourful, playful and just a little bit chaotic. Basically, the perfect match for Beach Mix.

Packed with colourful sweets, beachy vibes and a proper taste of summer, this pouch is made for days out, seaside trips, theatre treats, party bags, thank-you gifts or just treating yourself to something sweet.
