Can you tell by my face how much this meant to me? ✨

This weekend I went to see the Queen’s style exhibition and honestly… wow. Seeing her wedding dress and coronation dress up close was one of those moments that reminded me exactly why I fell in love with textiles in the first place.

Because clothes are never *just clothes*.

They hold memories. They capture a moment in time. They tell us who someone was, what was happening in the world, and the story that surrounded them.

Those dresses are now pieces of history — just as important as the photographs taken of those moments. The stitches, the fabric choices, the craftsmanship… they all carry a story long after the day itself has passed.

And I think that’s the magic of textiles.

Whether it’s a royal gown seen by millions or something handmade for one person, what we wear becomes woven into our chapters.

A gorgeous weekend of reminding myself why I do what I do — creating pieces designed with meaning, made for moments, and loved long after 🤍
