All lights and sequences controlled via a phone / tablet.

I took a punt on a O gauge Heljan Class 153 last week and wasn't disappointed.
I wanted a new challenge using some of the technologies I use in smaller scale modelling. With limited modern models available the 153 was an ideal choice.
Using the TfW unit as a donor I've removed the cab end lit destinations and replaced them with working LED matrix screens. This gives the unit a twist and also gives more play value going to different destinations shuttling up and down the line. There are 10 preset destinations but you can also manually enter any destination of your choosing (handy for fictional layouts).
I went a step further (as space was generous) and added internal P*S with the calling points of the route / destination selected.

1:76 Code3 PHEV transit Custom BT Openreach livery from Shedring Hobbies.

Work Done to the model,
Custom led beacon lights installed. 4 LEDS built into a 3d printed roof rack. Ladder and pipe box installed.
Different light sequences by pressing a button on the chassis.
Built in battery, recharged using USB C.

Welcome one and all. I've finally started to seperate out this exciting new part of my project work after it generated lots of interest so needed its own page.
I'll be sharing updates on buses coming through the workshop to have either an LED matrix screen or lights installed, some will be customer orders and others will be items I'll build up for general sale.
I'm part of the model bus and coach groups so most of you will know my work from there.
