Took a little break from work today to take the girls for a wander around my past, to a place I’m so grateful I got to grow up calling home.
I’ll always be a little sad that my dad moved out of this beautiful village, but I hope to keep its magic and memories alive for us with lots of visits.
It would be my dream to live back here one day with a studio and this seaside view, but until then I’ll settle for little visits like today and some quality time with the girls.
One of the reasons I love running Winter and Willow is having the freedom to pause work for family time, take a moment, and come back feeling refreshed and full of new ideas to start making and designing again.

Another mermaid-themed post! This cute set was for Margo’s birthday a few weeks ago.
I just love the white pearl acrylic for the shell backdrop it looks gorgeous with both bright and muted tones.
I trialled it out with my dusty pink and it looked beautiful, but we went for a brighter mermaid theme in the end, which I think is equally as cute.

I was so inspired by all of the bold colours, fun shapes and gorgeous tiles from my recent trip to Barcelona that I decided to create a little summer tile collection for above the girls desk space. I am now thinking I am going to make these into a full interchangeable collection. I have been trying to figure out for a while now how I can make interchangeable name signs and these little tiles may be the solution (swipe to see Willow’s name sign I have drawn up on the computer) The idea would be that you purchase the large name tile and then can add mini tiles around it which can be swapped out with seasons i.e ghost and pumpkins at Halloween or trees and gingerbread men at Christmas. The tiles can also be sold separately in various sizes to style around the room and thinking they would look cute as magnets too 😝

Hey, I’ve been a little quiet on here over the last month or so as things at home have been rather busy. We’ve also had a couple of holidays recently and the Scottish school summer hols kicked off last week too. So I’ve been trying my best to keep the girls entertained and out of the house… because 5 years age gap or not, siblings will still find a way to bicker 😅

I’ve fully reopened the shop now things have settled a little and I’m hoping to keep orders flowing all summer. I might just need to adjust turnaround times slightly with my two extra trouble-making sidekicks at home for the foreseeable 🤪

Your patience and support so far though while I’ve been juggling orders and clearly taking way too many pics is super super appreciated ☺️
