I can now offer a lifetime archival disc for transferred photos and videos for £10 extra. A USB will still be given for each transfer for no extra cost. USB is ideal as they connect directly to any modern TV and show the pictures and videos instantly but MDiscs (Millennium Discs) can be used to store the memories for generations.

Your data is burned into a stone-like storage layer that is resistant to light, temperature and moisture. Millenniata tests to industry standard ISO/IEC 10995 showed that the expected lifetime of an MDISC DVD is 1,332 years and only 5% of disks will show signs of data loss after 667 years. So you can be absolutely sure that your precious photographs, music libraries, home videos and other important data will be stored on a storage device that will last a lifetime.

I get much better quality when the brand is aligned — using my JVC camcorder to play back a customer's JVC tape makes a real difference. And capturing these tapes via FireWire keeps the signal fully digital, meaning zero degradation in quality.

New ad going on FB Marketplace:

I can convert your VHS tapes to USB or DVD. The USB is included in the price and can be connected direct to most TVs to play the videos and to a laptop or pc to backup and share .

£12 Per Tape

I use high quality JVC SVHS VCRs which have built in time based correction and digital noise reduction to create the sharpest capture possible with the least interference. I also use video editing software to remove static between footage so you can get an uninterrupted viewing of your memories.

For an extra £10 I can transfer the footage to an MDISC DVD/Blu-ray that won't degrade for multiple generations
