A new venue.... and only 10 minutes from me... I needed to experience this first hand, and I couldn't wait when Sean and Laura asked me to capture their day there.

Whistle Barns Wedding Venue is definitely my kind of vibe and after scouring the 'gram' and FB on all the pictures, and a few 'recce' I knew it was going to be good.

I instantly hit it off with Sean and Laura, and their wedding day plans sounded perfect. They wanted more natural than not, and loads of the kids... Well we definitely smashed that brief.

The sun finally broke through for yesterdays happy couple L&S at Whistle Barns Wedding Venue and what a beautiful wedding it was 🤍

Using luxurious Cala lilies & Roses in bright orange and lemon we were able to reflect the joy that he bought to their lives 💛🧡💛

Yesterday, a beautiful family said farewell to a much loved Husband, Dad, Grandad and friend to so many.

We were honoured to create his bespoke flowers that reflected their love and memories of him.

Just a cheeky reel of a few moments from Saturdays wedding Derby Cathedral (followed by a super cool celebration in a tipi) for the marriage of H+K.
Myself and The Potty Plotters have just about come back down to earth after creating these beautiful items for their special day ~ Elaine and Julia’s exceptional work in growing all of these flowers & foliage on their allotments in Derby really did pay off on the day.

Huge congratulations to them and obviously to the most lovely, happy couple 💜💛🧡💙❤️ x
