Kiln safely installed near Colchester, easy access , instructions and WiFi set up. Betty the pottery dog came to inspect. Bonus of the trip back was the Trooping of the Colours fly by along the A12. Hundreds of folks gathered on all the bridges watching. Have a good weekend.

Busy kiln day today, a Rohde TE 100 delivered and installed in Bedford this morning, instructions and kiln care given, back to the shop to load up an Ikon 60 lt 16 amp for afternoon delivery to Wellingborough area . Custom had no electricity so trip later to give instructions. Managed to dodge the showers.

🌟 Potter of the Month 🌟

This month’s feature is Pip Williams and her daughter, who both enjoy potting for fun and creativity. Their work showcases a lovely mix of forms and finishes, using Potclays Lavafleck and Flecked Stoneware clays, with glazes including various Botz Stoneware glazes, Potclays Vellum White, and a selection of underglazes.

Pip has been potting with us for a little while now, and it’s always a pleasure to see her progress and growing confidence in her work. We love watching our potters develop their skills and explore new ideas, and Pip’s pieces are a wonderful example of that journey.

Congratulations to Pip and her daughter on being our Potter of the Month! 🎉
