Been an awful month, after 2nd accident this year I have not been able to walk let alone stitch. I bought Lori Holt templates for Home Town. Faffed around for a couple of weeks then yesterday decided to TRY and make the Flag block using Corey Yoder fabric. I have to machine with left foot since first accident where I broke my right ankle. I could piece and quilt ok with left foot, but oh dear machine applique didn't want to behave. So here it is sans door step my Flag house without Flag. Its made, its wonky. I am wonky. I know I am happy I managed to stitch it, I am glad it's not a teaching example but will be a cushion. C'est la vie.

One of my treasurettes suggested STACK and Whack (devised by Bethany Reynolds), I've taught this many times, but had forgotten about it for ages. One of the stacks is now a recovered chair back in the shop.

Saturday morning sewing.
Inspired by MSQC. My version of the block. I wanted to showcase Robin Pickens Wild Blossoms, the low volume prints. Plus have a bold centre. Used the covered corners method instead of HST.
I am pleased with the result.

Good morning.
Dilemma!
Which colours to choose?
Maybe use them all.
I have the colours of Moda Aurifil box, very depleted now.
But I think I will use King Tut variegated.
May use the Aurifil pale yellow on the white.
Or. One thread across it all!
Can't ponder too long or the heat will get me!
