It's not hard to see the inspiration behind Bram Stoker's 'Dracula" in the dramatic clifftop ruins of Whitby Abbey and St. Mary's churchyard. The gloomy Yorkshire weather only added to the atmospheric experience. Many thanks to .co.uk for organising the trip.

'The world seems full of good men, even if there are monsters in it.' Currently in Whitby, the inspiration and setting for much of Bram Stoker's classic gothic fantasy, 'Dracula'. A view of the Abbey ruins and St Mary's church can be seen from my hotel window and I'm just awaiting the flapping of bat wings...
