We’re working on a fantastic project this year—more to be shared soon, but let’s talk about something we don’t usually show — The chaos & magic of setting up a fully functional studio on location.

It starts with a van full of gear and a questionable amount of coffee. Load in, set up, tweak, adjust, rethink, tweak again— then suddenly, we’ve built a fully functional studio with autocue, monitoring, and a great space to record pieces to camera.

Setting up a studio on location is about more than just the gear—it’s about creating an environment where the content shines, the talent feels comfortable, and everything just works.

What an extraordinary 24 hours it has been! My experience at Hits Live in Birmingham was absolutely brilliant. I am truly passionate about live events; they offer an unparalleled creative space where everyone comes together. The energy and excitement from everyone involved were genuinely incredible. Being able to share this "AAA" backstage with the artists really made it another memorable event of 2023.

I extend my huge thanks for the invitation; it was an absolute pleasure!

We're still buzzing from the incredible 2023 Herne Bay Jazz Festival and wanted to send a huge shout-out to our amazing crew, partners, and the Herne Bay Jazz team..

Our multi-camera setup and live switching from Herne Bay Pier, powered by Starlink satellite, brought the festival's magic right to your screens. A big thanks to Cabin FM for making it even more special by using our audio feeds to broadcast.

Heartbreak in Newcastle 💔 Our team poured their hearts and souls into creating something truly magical this week - LLooseFestwas going to be an unforgettable experience, a fusion of art and technology that would transport us to the metaverse.

Mother Nature had other plans. The weather dealt us a cruel blow, and our dreams of sharing this extraordinary event with all of you were shattered.

CPL FILMS has always been about pushing boundaries, embracing innovation, and creating something extraordinary. And while the weather may have halted our plans, the spirit of creativity and determination within our team remains unbroken.

Fun-filled day at KMFM, geeking out with the spectacular Canon 500 PTZ camera! 🎥 It's been way too long since our last visit, and we couldn't help but realise how much we missed these guys! Catching up was an absolute blast. The new studios are swanky, and boy, did we agree the Canon CRN-500 with this 1inch sensor is a game changer!

Last week, we had the incredible opportunity to embark on a unique and challenging project in the quaint village of Hucking near Maidstone! The team rigged a beautiful church with an array of cameras ready for a live broadcast link between the church and the wedding venue for a very special occasion..

With no mobile signal available, we had to rely solely on Starlink to ensure a seamless live broadcast feed back to the venue, where excited guests gathered to witness this heartwarming ceremony. ❤️📡

Weeks of meticulous planning and technical expertise went into making this dreamy day a reality, and we are thrilled to have been a part of it!

Congratulations to the lovely couple, Mr. and Mrs. Bishop! May your life together be filled with everlasting love, joy, and endless laughter. 🥂
