Kendal Summer Trail - it's live now, ready for you to have a go whenever you like, all summer until 6 September. Collect a map from Armstrong Ward in Wainwright’s Yard, and also a free goodie. Follow the map to find all the posters and complete the 5 fun trail tasks. Enjoy treats along the way where you see the sign. Raspberry Gin Ombre Cocktail recipe 🤩 Ideal for serving lots of guests.
Try Booths gin cocktail recipe! All the ingredients are available in the Yard. BoothsCountry
Serves 6
Ingredients:
1x250ml Atkins and Potts Raspberry coulis
300ml gin
600ml lemondade
500g ice
Garnish:
100g frozen raspberries
2 lemons, sliced and diced
100g summer berries like strawberries, blackberries, blueberries
Method:
1. Place the raspberry coulis in the bottom of the punch bowl.
2. Add the ice then pour in the cold lemonade.
3. Finally add the gin and then garnish with fruit.
4. Serve immediately, using a ladle to pour the mixture into cold glasses full of ice.
Chef’s Tip:
The key to a good ombre is spectacular layers. This is achieved by different weighted liquids and how you layer them. Heaviest always at the bottom and make sure all your liquids are very cold as the liquids will mix less when very cold.

Opening up for the week, with the school holidays in full swing. We’ve lots to inspire outdoor fun and keep enquiring minds busy and we are once again participating in the kendal BID Trail . The Trail is completely free fun way the explore the town and we have maps , just pop in to collect and look 👀 out for the trail treat window stickers along the way.
