This time next week the kiddo’s and Mark will be but this week’s Tuesday the warehouse doors will be open at 10.30-2.30.
Tons of free parking and free tea or coffee should you desire-not barista standards admittedly but when were you last offered a coffee when visiting a shop?! 🤣
We’re 5 minutes from the A12, under 10 from Freeport, 40 from Stansted and around an hour’s drive from Cambridge and Newmarket.

You could have all of these items for less than £300 . The most expensive item here is £89, the vintage industrial stool, roughly £20 more than a mass produced one made (badly) for tuppence, for a “affordable” high street chain, in a country far far away.

Tomorrow 10.30-3 these fabulous, genuinely old galvanised baths will be £130 each.
Dimensions are approximately: 146 cm X 61 cm X 48 cm high. Most would be more planter than bath but happy to do a watertight test using one of our fabulous vintage watering cans!

In for a penny in for a pound.
As I’ve noticed Christmas stuff popping up in the supermarkets Im going to plough on too. Not politely sitting on my hands thinking that it’s just too early and letting all our potential customers go and finish all their Christmas shopping by late September
Feels a little shady though so I’ll further excuse my actions by saying that it’s a good idea financially to spread the cost by purchasing products over a longer period (just don’t forget what and who you have bought for, neither where you have hidden them-yes personal experience) nor will you have to dash into a high street store at 12.30 on Christmas Eve and panic buy a ton of stuff for your partner who then dumps you before year is out anyway-again might be speaking from experience!
Moral of stories is…..buying from a small business such as us or the many amazing people on here makes a really big difference, it shows you have really thought about the person who will be happy to receive the gift, and you probably won’t have spent any more money than you would at a big store.
PS we also do sell socks for the stocking fillers!

So much laziness involved here, wrote a big old lot of blurb on TikTok which wouldn’t transfer directly to here do just screenshotted it and placed it on the reel.
In the 2008 recession i was working for a premium clothing brand with the most incredible, inspiring and eccentric founder (Ive had two bosses like this, very fortunate) anyway, going back to 2008, my then Boss was phenomenal at giving us advice and strategies to keep moving forward with sales. The businesses that survived really worked hard, learned new ways to survive, prices actually went up 30% in a lot of cases but business boomed for a lot, while those that sat on their hands, terrified failed-as did the really s**t ones who had been surviving on a wing and a prayer for years.
There wasn’t really any social media back then, business had to rely on marketing via press, trade stands and recommendations. I think we’ll try hammering social media more than we do currently as this is feeling very much like 2008 if not slightly worse.
We’re not going to be doing funny dances-ironically enough, we all dance like we have been stung repeatedly while simultaneously being severely egg bound, and will stay authentic-old, tired, stressed, miserable and overwhelmed-i follow a good few popular people who are just real and that’s quite comforting in a world seemingly full of fake, and we’ll see how we get on.
Incredibly I’ve written way more than I was too lazy to write before so I’ll just go and have some coffee and leave you to watch rabbits on unicycles or whatever takes your fancy.
