Sweet Creeping Thistle. Smells divine. The butterflies, bees, hover-flies, ladybirds … agree. I’ve been cutting some surprise treats for tomorrow’s Kelso Farmer’s Market bouquets and had to stop a smell the pretty little lilac thistles.

Nightmare or Beautiful…? These thistle seeds will be flying free today in the wind. But sometimes you just have to step back and let nature have its space. These long grasses, docks & thistles, bearded irises and more are providing protection and homes to many creatures and the irises can wait until the autumn when the weeds will die-back and I can extract them - maybe not all of them this autumn as I have hundreds of varieties and it’s actually 8 borders… Oops. 🌾🌾🌾🌾🤷‍♀️🌾🌾🌾🌾

Subscription Flowers - Local Free Delivery across the Scottish Borders, Berwick Upon Tweed & Wooler Areas. DM or Email me if you’re interested and I can do invoicing for now as that’s currently working well for existing clients. Minimum spend is £18 value of flowers with free delivery for weekly, fortnightly or monthly safe place drop off of flowers at a time of our choice. And ad hoc order minimum spend is currently £24 value of flowers with free delivery within those areas. I can also do subscription postal deliveries - minimum spend is £27 and that includes £18 worth of flowers & the Royal Mail 24 postage & packaging (again that’s a day of our choice so if you can give safe place delivery instructions). Higher value of flowers is all available and can be tailored to you.
