JULY’S SNAPSHOTS! 📸💕👏🤩

Wow July has been a busy one for us Thompsons at Hawkcliffe Farm Produce!

🍦🍨🍧 We launched the fabulous Brymor Ice Cream (Bill from Bymor is with us on Friday sampling their wonderful ice cream!)

🚜 Lamborghini - Dan restored his Lamborghini tractor within a month and used it for HAYMAKING! (He has another Lamborghini tractorwhich needs restoring! 🙈🚜)

💪940 hay bales were produced and stored in our barns for winter feed!

🎪We attended the Great Yorkshire Show and celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary! 💕

😋We dined twice at the amazing Elsworth at the Mill and have booked in for further events including their August Hoe Down.. yehaaaa! 🤠 We’re currently considering their cheese and wine evening in September! 🤣🧀🍷

☀️🐒🐒 School holidays - no explanation needed!

THE WRONG TROUSERS! 🤣🤣🙈🙈

We thought we’d show you Farmer Dan’s new orange work trousers this morning!

Honestly you couldn’t get a worse colour but they were only £2.50 a pair from eBay so of course many pairs were purchased.

Look out for them when you’re next at Hawkcliffe! 🤣

CLASSIC VEHICLE GATHERING! 🚗🚙🚜

Morning everyone!

Just to let you know there is the annual Classic Vehicle Gathering happening at Keighley Rugby Club in Utley this morning starting at 10am until 4pm!

Free to enter and it’s a great visit raising money for Sue Ryder Manorlands.

Dan will be taking the kids down at somepoint today in between baling.

Pop in enroute or afterwards as we’re open at the farm shop today 10-4 with lots of yummy food and ice cream! ☀️😋🍦

GREAT YORKSHIRE SHOW & 3RD YEAR WEDDING ANNIVERSARY! 🎪💕

Morning Christmas Tree Folks!🎄

We’re are currently enroute to the Great Yorkshire Show in Harrogate! 🥳🐂

It also happens to be our 3rd Wedding Anniversary today and what a great way to celebrate by attending our biggest local show!

Chairs, beach caddy, hats and suncream have been packed! ☀️☀️

Right Sarah’s off to find the nearest PIMMS tent and Dan’s off to find tackle and cows! 😅😅

Friends Of Steeton Primary School are having their Summer Fair this Saturday!

Open to all - They are looking forward to seeing you all from 11am - come & support you local village school plus Dan and the kids will be there showing our newly restored Lamborghini Tractor! .

Lots of game stalls, prizes to be won & cake to be eaten!

SUPER SUNDAY!

Morning all! So the weather forecast is good after the rain!

Here’s what’s going on down at the farm today:

😇 The lovely Annis will help you today in the shop as us Thompsons are having a day off! Yaassss! 🙌

🚜 Dan finally got out into the fields with his new Lamborghini tractor but managed to get caught out with baling last nights hay in the rain.. 10 acres had to be left.. don’t mention it if you see him today.. it’s a sore subject! 🤣

🍽️ Last nights dinner was a scrumptious chicken thigh salad with dry cured bacon lardons - plenty at the shop today!

🧁We treated ourselves to one of Emma’s chocolate caramel crispies last night.. amazing 🤩 Lots of homemade desserts are available today along with drinks to sit outside under the parosols

🍹We enjoyed Aperol Spritz’s last night.. more will be consumed tonight!

🔥💨 🍔🌭We have lots of bbq meats in and things for the smoker such as flat brisket, short ribs and oxtail

🍓Grab your Annabel’s strawberries for the week

🥩🐓 We’ve got yummy beef joints and whole chickens if you fancy a Sunday roast

🚗🛒 Finally it’s Silsden car boot today which we will be attending. We love a carboot.. why not pop down to the farm afterwards for some fabulous food?
