What a brilliant evening at Edinburgh Summer Sessions! The Cure were absolutely incredible as always, with support from Mogwai, Slowdive and Just Mustard. The atmosphere was amazing, with 30,000 people enjoying the sunshine and some seriously good music, although VIP is definitely the way to go! An unforgettable night from beginning to end! 🖤🖤

Sir Pheasant Plucker has only gone and won the Oxnam Scarecrow Competition against a very strong line-up! 🏆🪶🪶

Forget meeting the King, going to the House of Lords and winning the Countryside Alliance Award… this has officially gone straight to the top of the summer highlights! 😂

He’s not the pheasant plucker, he’s the pheasant plucker’s mate and he’s looking extremely pleased with himself now that he’s officially an award-winning scarecrow!

Meet Sir Pheasant Plucker!

Fine Feathers’ entry for the Oxnam Village Scarecrow Competition — naturally, there had to be plenty of feathers involved!

Sporting his tweed, wellies and magnificent feathered wings, he’s now proudly standing at the Rennieston Farm road end.

And yes… I know he isn’t anatomically correct! He’s a scarecrow, not a biology lesson , just a bit of fun! 🪶🪶
