Today's job is leaflet prep for this weekends fair - plus it can be done with a velcro baby today! I need to sticker up the new leaflets for the fair and then after this make some activity packs as these are one of the prizes to win on the spinning wheel!

Currently nap trapped so madam cracked out her step by step drawing book as she wanted to draw a penguin for little sis as "she can only see black and white at the moment mummy"🐧
After the penguin she wanted to practice other items in the book so here is a snapshot of her practicing her drawings (with a small distraction of the TV of course 🤣)

Gathering the goods for my first fair in 6 months tonight! 🎪 I have 3 boxes and a pile of books I forgot about to be merged in 🤦🏻‍♀️ this is the down side of dumping it all in the office now I am on maternity leave as I don't need to go in there 🤣
I love getting these books into hands where they can be touched and explored, and even more so in school settings and seeing how the children connect to them and the conversations about favourite books they like... Plus I have my spinning wheel to win a prize every time - who doesn't love that!

Anyone else trying to survive the rainy days? ☔
We love and use the sticker dolly dressing sticker books all the time because they are the only books that actually get my daughter to sit quietly when she is stuck inside. The books are colourful and cover a range of themes - plus there are even some shiny ones!!

Head office has randomly put the whole set on a 10% discount this month! Honestly, even at full price, they’re worth it to get 20 minutes of peace, so this is a massive win.

I need your help, lovely people! 📣👇
Now that I’m settling into a routine with my 6-week-old (yes 6 weeks already!) and 6-year-old, I am so eager to get back out into the community and share these beautiful books in person! I haven’t done a local event in over 6 months, and I’ve missed seeing the kids’ faces light up when they explore the stalls.
With Summer Fair season just around the corner, I want to bring my pop-up bookshop to as many local schools, nurseries, playgroups, and preschools as possible. ☀️🎪
Can you help me out? Please comment below or tag the names of local schools or nurseries your children attend, or any community summer fairs you know are happening nearby!

Bank holiday Sunday fun! I was planning on using today to sort my stock out and get organised for events coming up but it was way too hot for that 🥵🥵🥵 so instead we had a family lunch and then did some chalk drawings in the garden 🖍️ plus side is I did manage to open some happy post from after doing some training with her.... I can't wait to use this paper tape on orders and book subscriptions 😍😍

How has your bank holiday Sunday been? We have an extra day off tomorrow! Woo hoo! Do you have any plans??

I'm back! 🍼 A lot can change in 6 months. I am officially relaunching my book business today, but with two massive changes: a proud 6-year-old big sister and a tiny 2-week-old newborn. Life is beautifully chaotic right now. Among the nappies and school runs, I'm fiercely passionate about keeping our reading routine alive.
