Today is the International Day of Charity, and so we'd like to take this opportunity to say a great big THANK YOU to every single one of our partner charities and to YOU - our supportive community. We couldn't have done the last 60 years (!) without you all ❤️⁠

Last 2 years has been full of ups and downs, has had a lot of bumpy rides, but we've got through. We've experienced some great highs too, so thank you so much for all your support - every like, comment, share, and purchase of cards and gifts makes a huge impact each and every day.⁠

We have multiple Shop Volunteer roles available across our UK-wide network of seasonal pop-up shops during the festive October-December period. ⁠

If you think you can spare as little as a few hours between October and December we would love to hear from you. ⁠

Our established network of shops need help from a range of people doing everything from helping set up to day to day running of the shop. ⁠

Samaritans work to make sure there's always someone there for anyone who needs someone.⁠
⁠
Samaritans is a registered charity aimed at providing emotional support to anyone in emotional distress, struggling to cope or at risk of su***de throughout the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland, often through its telephone helpline (116 123).⁠

Each day, people who are lonely, desperate, or struggling, turn to Samaritans in search of compassion and support.⁠

Cards for Good Causes partners with various charities each year. ⁠

This we would love to highlight some of our national partner charities for the 2022 Christmas range.⁠
⁠
Some of the national charities we partner with are Alzheimer's Society, Barnardo's, British Heart Foundation, Cancer Research UK, Diabetes UK, Epilepsy Action, MS Society, National Autistic Society, NSPCC, Perennial, Queen Elizabeth's Foundation for Disabled People, RNLI, Save the Children and Stroke Association. ⁠

Overall we will support over 200 national and local charities by selling charity cards on our website and/or in our 100 Christmas pop-up shops throughout the UK 🤩 🎄⁠

This we would like to highlight the outstanding work of one of our amazing partners Alzheimer's Society 🥰

Alzheimer’s’ society are a vital source of support and a powerful force for change for everyone affected by dementia.

It is estimated that by 2025, 1 million people will be living with the condition in the UK, and many millions more carers, partners, families, and friends are affected.

Lack of treatments and postcode lottery for care means that people with dementia and their families aren’t getting the support they need, when they need it.

👉 Support Alzheimer’s Society and help change this.
