Let's get those nuts nice and lubricated. The one and only 'Lil Luber.' If you haven't tried it, you don't know what you are missing. Just one of the many Big Bends guitar care products, that I have been selling for quite a while.

Applied to the guitar nut and other contact points that can suffer from friction, it really makes a difference to tuning stability and overall playability.

Fender Custom Shop 62 Jazz Bass NOS. Beautiful instrument, that I am selling on behalf of a customer. I have been informed that it has had little use over the past year or so, and clearly has been well looked after.

Bass is not my first instrument to play, but have worked on them. This feels super smooth to play, a lovely slim profile neck, and a brighter but punchy sound.

It helps having a wizard like Darren of Retroamps to work on valve equipment. Yes this is my recently acquired Quad hi-fi equipment, but it could just as easily be a guitar amp, mixing desk, or keyboard. A man of many talents! Drop me a message if you need more info.

Small re-stock of the most excellent guitar strings. New parts from and top-up of ever popular neck shims.

Some of the fret ends were a little rough, so smoothed those off with the trusty end file. Restring with a set of Jumbo King 11's and job done.

Removing the strings from this old Hohner acoustic, before doing a fret polish, fretboard condition and string change. A local customer has bought it for his son to learn on, and as a beginner guitar it's not bad. Spruce top and mahogany back and sides, I'm not sure about the fretboard, but info I found says it is ebonised. Anyway, it sounded pretty good even before I started work, so I am sure the young musician will be well pleased.

Using the old faithfuls, fret cleaner and fretboard conditioner.
