I popped down to Inverurie Scout Group last night as they were awarded £3000 from The Morrisons Foundation for their CPR training project.

Giving back!

Recently, the squadron was donated a voucher from Inverurie, as part of their community engagement initiative. After discussion, the cadets decided that taking the voucher back to Morrisons, and purchasing food to donate to local food banks, was the best way to spend the voucher!

We are so proud of our young people for making this choice, and are grateful to Inverurie for helping us to make this happen.

This is a long post but absolutely worth reading!
The lads and lasses at 877 (Inverurie) Squadron helped us with bag packing in November to raise funds for the Scottish Poppy Appeal.
We gave them a gift card to treat themselves but they decided they would rather help to support our local food banks!!!
I am not going to lie that my heart filled with joy!
They came in last night and bought the food bags!!
