We had a lovely visit yesterday from the author of our Scottish Book of the Month! Thank you to Olga Wojtas for signing all our copies of Miss Blaine's Prefect and the Parcel of Rogues 🩵

If you haven't heard of this series yet, our manager Toby LOVES this book! In his review, he says, "I cannot recommend this book highly enough. It is a properly funny, pacey ride of a novel that will appeal to anyone who likes historical fiction, cosy crime or well-written comedy."

We had such a lovely event yesterday afternoon with two fantastic Scottish authors for the launch of The High Island! Lin and Shona are always a delight to host and we can't thank them both enough for supporting us. We even had a real Erling Flett in the audience, much to Lin's surprise!

Signed copies of The High Island and The Cromarty Library Circle are available in store while stocks last!

The first book in the new Orcadia Mysteries series, The High Island is a gripping Tartan-Noir offshoot of Lin Anderson’s acclaimed Rhona MacLeod series. This atmospheric and utterly gripping thriller is such a brilliant introduction to the character of DI Erling Flett. Lin Anderson is on fire! 🔥
