Well my piles of plans and oodles of ideas have been on ice for the past few months, as my right wrist probably ought to be! Tenosynovitis has been progressively wrecking my grip and chronic pain getting me wrong in the head, with a long road ahead but in very short bursts I've managed some very rough doodles of some Pictish beasties, for a range of cards I have in mind. Rather fond of these wee critters, here's hoping I manage to do something more substantial soon.

Working on another Xmas design, while my little furry pal joins me in the grotto again, all cosy while the wind and rain batter outside!
I love listening to audio books while I'm drawing, I've recently realised how much it helps my get my artistic brain in gear. Current obsession, the Empyrean Series by Rebecca Yarros. Think I'm a bit late to the party with these, but have just devoured Fourth Wing and now onto Iron Flame. So these Xmas designs will always make me think of bits of the books forevermore!
