👀 Ever wondered what goes into creating an almost invisible carpet join?

With this room measuring 7m x 7m, a join was unavoidable due to the maximum carpet width available being 5m. The difference is in how that join is completed.

Using the Kool Glide seaming system, careful preparation, and plenty of attention to detail, we created a seamless finish in this beautiful Furlong Bliss carpet that the customer was amazed by.

The video shows one of the final stages of the process – precision trimming and blending the fibres to ensure the join disappears into the carpet pile.

It's these little details that separate an average installation from an exceptional one.

✨ A Perfect Finish, Even When a Join Is Unavoidable ✨

This customer came to us after being told by another retailer that what they wanted simply couldn't be achieved.

Their stunning living room measures 7m x 7m, and they wanted this beautiful carpet fitted with the best possible finish. The challenge was that the maximum carpet width available is 5 metres, meaning a join was unavoidable.

After discussing the options, we supplied and fitted this stunning Furlong Flooring Bliss carpet over Wilsons Underlays Plushwalk 10mm underlay. Using the Kool Glide seaming system and our specialist fitting expertise, we produced a join so clean and invisible that the customer was amazed by the final result.

The finished room now looks fantastic, feels luxurious underfoot, and most importantly, the customer couldn't be happier. 👌

To make the most of the remaining carpet, we're also creating bespoke rugs from the offcuts for use in high-traffic areas, helping to protect the new carpet while reducing waste.

Sometimes it's not about whether something can be done, it's about having the knowledge, tools and experience to do it properly.

This beautiful hallway transformation started after the client reached out to us following one of our Facebook posts.

🔨This is why prep matters.

Most people never see what's underneath a floor, but that's often where the real work starts.

Once the old floor was lifted, we were left with layers of adhesive, patch repairs and a subfloor that needed some serious attention before any new flooring could be fitted.

Just a little shoutout to our Orange Box Self Storage neighbour, Maria's Toy and Homewear Cabin 😊

☀️ Another quality install completed for Little Stars Childcare in Codnor and what a scorcher it was! 🌡️🔥

Working in temperatures of over 30°C, we transformed this summer house using the stunning Elements Inspirations LVT in Limed Oak, creating a fresh, bright and modern space ready for the kids to return. 🪵✨

With heat like this, product choice matters. We used ARDEX UK AF195 high-temperature adhesive to ensure the floor performs exactly as it should, even in extreme summer house conditions. 💪☀️
