Thank you so much to those customers who helped this morning when another customer took ill in store. Within seconds, people were helping him down, supporting him, getting him in to the recovery position, and running outside to phone for an ambulance. Even if not needed directly, other people were waiting patiently off to one side whilst we got him sorted. We cannot thank everyone enough. We already knew it, but this just confirms that we have the best customers. It was so lovely to see how much people in Ilkeston look after each other 💙

Does anyone recognise this cat? Been hanging around outside for a while and keeps trying to come in. Very friendly, happy to be picked up, but less happy that we have to keep taking it back outside. We think he/she would love to be back home where it’s a bit warmer. If we could share this post around and try to find the owners, it’d be appreciated! Thank you!

It’s that time again, after having a break over the Christmas period, we are being asked to collect some more feedback off you to help us constantly improve the experience you receive in store.

Good morning, everyone.

Just a quick reminder that the store and car park will be closed today at 2:30 for a couple of hours whilst we observe Tony’s funeral.

The car will be passing around 2:50, if you would like to come and join us. Please remember to socially distance if you do come down.

Hopefully the sun stays shining and it’s not too cold!

Dear customers,

We would like to inform you that Tony’s funeral will be held on Thursday the 11th of February.

He will be driven past the store at 14:50pm so the car park will be closed from 14:30 until after the service.

We would love it if you could show your appreciation for him by coming out and joining us (socially distanced, of course) to give him the send off he deserves.

The store will also be closed during this period.

Good afternoon everyone!

It’s begging time again; this is the last week where we are doing Your Store Your Say for a while. We would really appreciate any feedback you can give us, as this is the last big push until the new year.

Any feedback would be great, whether it’s that you want us to stock some different products, more staff on the tills, specific produce, or even if you just want to give a shout out to a staff member. Anything at all is appreciated, and it’s all anonymous.

We see all the comments that are left so we will know what it is you’d like to see in store, and with Christmas coming the £100 prize draw could come at a fantastic time. It takes 5 minutes, max, and can be as detailed as you want it to be.
