Lovely to welcome to the bookshop with her new book, "When I was a Wolf". Jasmine's favourite animal is a wolf and she knows a LOT about them. When things go wrong, it is art and wolves that get her through. Just like our story and craft sessions get you through school holidays!

We have 1 signed copy left so you'd better be quick!!

PS if anyone finds an extra copy in their bag, we lost Liz's copy. 🙄😬

Check out the latest book of the month chosen by independent booksellers. The bakery dragon is cute rather than fearsome and other dragons poke fun at him. One night, however, he finds his place and soon all the other dragons want in on the action.

The illustrations are so good you can almost smell them!

A great morning looking for Pierre!

Bear has lost his best friend Pierre. He's not here or there. He's vanished into thin air! He's looked everywhere.

Can you spot where he is? A lovely rhyming story with plenty of opportunities to penguin spot.

After hunting for Pierre in the bookshop, everyone went home with their very own Pierre, along with stickers and an activity pack, thanks .

We've got another special guest coming up at the Story and Craft session on the 19th August!

You might know Liz Flanagan from her Wildsmith series or The Legends of the Sky books and on the 19th she'll be joining us with her latest children's novel called When I was a Wolf. This book is perfect for those aged 7 and up, especially for those who might be put off by a long book. It's short, perfectly written to keep the attention of a young person and because it's published by Barrington Stoke it is printed on cream paper in a dyslexic friendly font.

Will you be coming along to say hi and join in?
