Exit Horsham train station and turn left onto North street and follow this until the junction with the A281 at this go straight across onto Copnall Way, then turn right onto Carfax follow this road where Swan walk will be straight ahead. From the North

Swan Walk is easily accessible by car and with an adjacent local authority multi-storey car park, which brings you right out into the centre, you won't have far to walk to be amongst the activity. The car park is situated off Albion Way and there are 900 spaces. Charges apply between 8am to 6pm Monday to Saturday. Swan Walk Car park is a pay on foot car park. Payment Machines (coins only) are situated in Swan Walk Shopping Centre, in Marks & Spencer and on level 1 of the car park (near the exit barriers). Public Transport

Smiggle has reopened at Swan Walk 🎉 and is ready to help you get set for the new school year, with bags, bottles, stationery and plenty of fun finds! 🎒🌈

As shared in our previous update, it has been confirmed that that an external projectile was responsible for the issue with our glazing panels. A netting solution, with a proven track record elsewhere, has been ordered and will be installed throughout the glazed area of the centre.

We are working to a target delivery date of 21st August with installation work ready to start immediately. We will then be able to share further detail around the planned timings for reopening, which will be on a phased basis. We are planning a reopening event for the first weekend of full centre opening and we look forward to sharing further details of the event in due course.

Our duty of care to all tenants, their staff and visitors to the centre remains our number one priority and we continue to be grateful for their ongoing support and understanding during this period. We’re also grateful to our town centre partners who continue to offer support to the Swan Walk tenants throughout this time.

In the interim M&S & Boots remain open and accessible from Carfax entrance, while TG Jones, The Post Office, Next, Toy Barnhaus, Happy Scamps plus the customer toilets are also open and accessible from the Swan Walk car park using the lifts and stairs into the centre. Swan Walk Update

A proposed netting solution has been approved, bringing us closer to reopening the shopping centre.

Working with forensic and glazing consultants, we have established the cause of the incident and ruled out defective glazing, with reports indicating other external factors were involved. For health and safety reasons, it was essential to establish the root cause before progressing with any solution.

Netting will be fitted underneath all glazed areas, a proven solution used in shopping centres elsewhere. The netting has been ordered, and once we have a confirmed delivery timetable, we will share updates on phased installation and reopening.

M&S and Boots are open via the Carfax entrance, whilst Happyscamps, TG Jones, the Post Office, Next, Toybarnhaus, Top Gift, and customer toilets are accessible via the Swan Walk car park entrance.

The safety of all our tenants, their staff, and our visitors remains our absolute priority. We thank everyone for their ongoing support and understanding.

We are pleased to share that we'll be able to reopen a select number of stores this weekend. Next, TG Jones, Toy Barnhaus, Top Gift and Happyscamps Soft Play will reopen on Saturday 1st August. The centre toilets will also be open.

We have worked closely with our insurers to allow the reopening of these stores, which can be accessed without the public needing to walk beneath the glazed roof.

Access to this area will only be available via the stairs and lifts from the Swan Walk car park across the link bridges. Access to M&S and Boots remains through the Carfax entrance or via the M&S lift from the car park. A plan showing access points will be available on the website (www.swanwalkshopping.co.uk) and at all centre entrances from Saturday.

While public safety remains our number one priority, we’re continuing to work closely with our insurer to ensure that all stores can reopen as soon as possible.

Swan Walk Closure Update

Following the incident on 13 July, when a panel fell from the roof into the shopping centre, Swan Walk has remained closed. We recognise that this is a challenging situation for our businesses and an inconvenience to our customers, but the safety of everyone who uses the centre remains our top priority.

Since the closure, glazing surveys and forensic investigations of the recovered glass fragments have been undertaken. The results of the forensic testing have confirmed the cause as impact from an external projectile. In consultation with our insurers, we are working towards the quickest solution to make the centre safe and welcome back our customers.

At this stage, we are unable to provide a definitive timeline for the reopening of the centre but can confirm that the centre must remain closed next week.

We are grateful to our town centre partners, who have worked with us to support Swan Walk's businesses wherever possible and to our customers for their patience and understanding during this period.

Our duty of care to all users of the centre remains our number one priority.
