Thought I would reintroduce myself with a 2016 twist!

2016 was a turning point for me, lots of fertility treatment and stress but also lots of fun, and turned out to be my last year working full time as a dental nurse! Early 2017 we found out we were pregnant.

This being the start that I knew I didnā€™t want the 9-5 and didnā€™t want to go back to dentistry. I wanted to be creative, design, arrange, plan, I wanted to be a Florist.

Fast forward to 2020 after my second baby, when I took the leap re-trained, met the amazing and then in 2021 Mamas That Flower was created.

I sit here in 2026 (a Mama that flowerā€™sšŸ¤­) and feel grateful and excited for the year ahead, for all my gorgeous weddings booked in, working for some other amazing florists and generally just having a laugh with my flowers friends!

Hi to all our blooming lovely followersā€¦ā€¦.
I donā€™t think weā€™ve ever done this before but here we are!!

šŸŒæIā€™m Sam one half of Mamas That Flower,
I live in Horsham with my Husband and our children Darcey and Teddy.

šŸŒæBefore this I was a dental nurse and before that I was cabin crew! Iā€™ve always been creative and enjoyed organising occasions, birthday parties etc! So when Covid hit and becoming a Mama to 2 within 17 months I needed a outlet and wanted to use my creative energy and so found beauty in flowers, with which also came this excitement for styling them for weddings.

šŸŒæItā€™s difficult for me to do a ā€˜this or thatā€™ because Iā€™m not an exclusive girl! I love dried and fresh flowers, I love tea and coffee, I love all music from Stormzy to Etta James, I love reading, a good box set, I love a glass of Prosecco. I love all the seasons, absolutely love travelling and am forever falling down a interior design/fashion insta/pinterest rabbit hole!

šŸŒæI donā€™t like to take life too seriously, itā€™s definitely too short, those of you that know me will know that I like to have a giggle at most things.

šŸŒæWith all this in mind thatā€™s what we love when we work with couples, the excitement in designing, planning then creating something thatā€™s going to make their special day even more magical.
