To all our loyal and lovely customers.

As many of you already know Ian and I are leaving the Chocolate Box & Post office. OUR LAST DAY WILL BE FRIDAY 19th MAY.

* PLEASE NOTE*
THE POST OFFICE WILL BE CLOSED UNTIL 1PM On FRIDAY - due to all the transfers over to the new owners ~ whom we would like to wish all the very best to.

Barry, Rose & Ian have had the Chocolate Box & worked in Holyhead for 33 years. During these years they made many new friends and enjoyed being part of the community.

Thank you all for making us feel so very welcome.

We will be sad to leave and will miss so many of you. Your friendship, kindness and all the wonderful stories. Ian will truly miss the banter and I’m sure the shop will be so much quieter without the politics of football 😂🙄!

Thank you also to our lovely staff whom have worked so hard and help us build our business.

We would like to wish each and everyone of you all the very best of wishes and again thank you for all your support over the years. It truly has been a pleasure to work in Holyhead ❤️.

To all our lovely friends & customers

It is with the heaviest of hearts, and great sadness that we announce the passing of Ian’s beautiful mother Rosemary Ashworth 💔.

Rosemary passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday 30th September.

People of Holyhead, family, friends & customers all gave Rose many happy and fond memories whilst working in the Chocolate Box with her loving husband Barry.
You have all been incredibly kind and caring towards her and us
over the years with your concern and well wishes.

We will all miss her dearly and hope now we can find comfort in knowing she is finally at peace ❤️

A lovely customer of ours sadly became quite poorly whilst in the post office today.
I want to say a huge thank you to a lovely young man that took good care of her, reassuring her and comforting her, stayed with her the whole time until the ambulance crew arrived.
There are some lovely kind people in this world. I didn't catch his name but wanted to say 'thank you' once again for all you did.
Wishing the lovely lady a speed recovery.
Proud to be part of such a kind and caring community.

To all our loyal customers.

We hope that you are all keeping well.

During this difficult time we have decided to change our opening hours until further notice...

Mon - Sat 9:00-2:00

We are also a staff member down so may we please ask that you are patient with us, as we are doing the best we can.

We have implemented the two meter distancing within the shop and post office and ask please for your own and others safety that you do respect the guidelines in place.
