A bit warm at work today!

Today I was more mobile than usual. Sassi Gifts on wheels! Forgot to take a photo of the trolley fully laden but I spent a lovely couple of hours going around one of my schemes catching up with my lovely customers, who are very isolated at present. Masks, hand sanitizer and distancing in place to keep everyone safe.

Lovely to be chatting with my regulars again. Hand sanitiser on the table, masks being worn and disposable gloves provided if required, to help keep everyone safe.

I visit lots of places where I meet people who just want a chat and a friendly smile and those things are a big part of the service we provide. I feel very privileged to spend time with the elderly and hear their stories.

There are several reasons why elderly people can isolate themselves from the outside world. Isolation leads to loneliness, and loneliness leads to isolation.
