Get your old Cartier ballpoint working again with my custom made Cartier refills, these have been made to be compatible with the Vendome, Must (old model), Cougar and Panther ballpoint pens as the original Cartier refills are very hard to find nowadays. Available on eBay.

For Must model pen only: do check it's the old style that takes a slimline refill not the more modern model that takes a G2 refill.

Susan B Anthony - Political Equality Silver Spoon - Woman Suffrage - 1892

Political Equality Spoon - Tribute to the cause of woman suffrage. Sterling Silver spoon with gilded bowl decorated with the profile of a woman, identified as Susan B Anthony, and the message "Political Equality, " designed by Millie Burtis Logan, and produced for the American market, 1892.

Susan B. Anthony devoted more than fifty years of her life to the cause of woman suffrage. After casting her ballot in the 1872 Presidential election in her hometown of Rochester, New York, she was arrested, indicted, tried, and convicted for voting illegally. At her two-day trial in June 1873, which she later described as “the greatest judicial outrage history has ever recorded,” she was convicted and sentenced to pay a fine of $100 and court costs. After Anthony’s arrest, which occurred two weeks after the November 5 election, there was a hearing to determine if she had, in fact, broken the law. The three young men who registered her as a voter on November 1, 1872, and accepted her ballot at the polls on Election Day were interviewed at the hearing.

Truly amazing two blade MOP miniature knife, the smallest I’ve ever found. Beautifully made and a really uncommon find. Probably Victorian, and either a Master piece or apprentice piece to show off their skills.

Here’s a really good item, and great to share as a post for the Chinese New Year.
This is a 1 tael solid silver ingot, a sycee (/ˈsaɪsiː, saɪˈsiː/ from Cantonese 細絲, sai-sì). The characters in this ingot I believe says Double Happiness & this dates to Qing Dynasty.
So Kung hei fat choy to you all, Happy Chinese New Year & Happiness & Prosperity.

Here are Some of today’s unusual to find items.
1920s brass lighter shaped as a book, C1870’s leather bound travelling inkwell shaped as a book, Victorian novelty spelter dog head table inkwell, Victorian travelling candle night light and a Victorian brass latch key. These are all pretty hard to find items, pretty good finds.
