Thank you so much Elsie Blundell - MP for Heywood & Middleton North for taking the time to visit us. It genuinely meant such a lot.

I was so excited to finally be able to show her Heywood Uniform Hub in person, share how far we’ve come in such a short space of time, and talk about everything we’re hoping to achieve next.

I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve built, but it simply wouldn’t be possible without our amazing volunteers, supporters and the generosity of the Heywood community.

Thank you Elsie for listening, for taking such an interest in what we’re doing, and for giving us the opportunity to share our work with you. It was an absolute pleasure to have you visit. 🧡💜🩵

📍 NEW DONATION DROP-OFF POINT!

We're very pleased to welcome Mike Goldrick Blinds & Curtains as our latest Heywood Uniform Hub donation point!

You can now drop off your outgrown, good-quality school uniform there and we'll collect it and get it ready to find a new home with another local family.

So if you've been meaning to clear out that pile of uniform that's been sitting there since July... this is your sign. 😄

Blazers are flying off the rails as quickly as we can put them out, and we desperately need more!

Don't forget... It's not just uniforms with logos that we supply, we also have loads of generic school essentials ready for local families, including:

👖 Trousers & skirts
👔 Shirts & polos
🎽 PE kit

👞 School shoes
🎒 Bags... and much more!

Many schools also allow children to wear plain jumpers and cardigans instead of the logo versions, making generic uniform a great way to save money without compromising on quality.

📢 A quick reminder...

Heywood Uniform Hub will not be open tomorrow (Sunday 2nd August) as baptisms are taking place at St Luke's Church.

We'll be back open as normal at our next session on Wednesday 5th August 10-12, ready to help with all your back-to-school uniform needs.

📣 Can you help us? We're running very low on St Anne's CE Academy and Edgar Wood Academy uniform.

We've had lots of requests for these schools recently, and our rails are looking a little emptier than we'd like.

If your child has recently left St Anne's Academy or Edgar Wood Academy, or has simply grown out of their uniform, we'd be so grateful if you'd consider donating it to Heywood Uniform Hub.

You can drop donations off at any of our collection points, or send us a message if you'd like to arrange a collection. 🧡💜🩵
