Country Matters Country Matters is a unique retail experience - a veritable Aladdin's Cave! We now sell teas/coffee

Our craft and general gift shop is situated in the old Village Hall in Hexton, Hertfordshire. We are open for three days each week - Thursday, Friday and Saturday 10.30 to 4.30 and appointments can be made for Sundays. Our cafe area is now open in simple style, tea, coffee (£1), cake or pastries if we have them, filled rolls or sandwiches and all at what we think are very reasonable prices. At pre

We stock fruit and veg, free range eggs, local honey, local R**e oil and flour, store cupboard essentials, cleaning materials, locally made marmalades, jams and chutneys. This is as well as jewellery, crockery, handmade gifts, craft items, glass, soft furnishings, kitchenalia, pre-loved etc We also sell small items of furniture

In the summer we have a range of plants and garden 'furniture'.
