A bit of an oddity. Bibliotheca Topographica Britannica: Miscellaneous Papers, Vol 1 (1780-1790), by John Nichols. It appears to be a sort of guide to the 8 main volumes, plus a few odds and ends that didn't make it into the original printing! A cumulative table of contents and Appendixes 21 to 26 to the History of St Katherine's, a second appendix to the History of Tunstall, A genealogical account of the families derived from Bedo Dee, the founder of Merchant Taylor's School, and a "Collection des defferents formes des vases Italico-Grecs" (1822) £90 ($119) + $34 postage from the UK Further photos on request.

Getting a good selection of books ready for our stall next Sunday - see you there 😄

With the Book Fair fast approaching, now is a good time to have a think about what sort of books to look out for at the next book fair on the 28th June.

Many of our stall holders have a wide selection, and you can find anything from children’s books, cookery, history, fiction, flora and fauna, sports, music, comics, some newly published books, and more!

Well known authors sit side by side with new and upcoming authors, postcards and ephemera.

We have over 40 established sellers with a wide variety of books, postcards and magazines,

Wandering past the wonderful Cogito Books yesterday, I noticed that they were highlighting books by the shop's two founders, From Picks to Rifles, by Alan Grint, and Enfilade, by Julia Draper. I could not remember Enfilade so, on going home, checked the details online. Cogito are selling it at £7.99, but online it's £86 plus postage! Things are not always cheaper online! Support your local bookshops 😉
