A couple of gorgeous weddings this weekend! We started off on Friday with the fantastic Claire & Bradley.
They wanted natural vibes, plenty of foliage and textures, working with an ivory colour scheme with pops of blue from the thistles. I added 'cotton expression ' roses- because they are all frilly and fabulous! And trailing silk ribbon from .uk for Claire's bouquet.
Little bud vases down the long tables with a bit of trailing foliage, and low centre vases on the round tables.

First visit of the year to our friends .farm.flowers.and.crafts to collect some flowers for this weekend's weddings. It's always a joy to come up here and I really miss being able to plunder their fields over the winter! We are so lucky to have this on our doorstep and love to be able to offer locally grown, pesticide free flowers to our clients.
It's still very early in the growing season, but you could see what was about to explode as soon as we get a bit of sun and warmth!

I loved my wedding bouquet but I made a mistake on the tie. I'd included some deep pink/mulberry trailing silk to compliment my favourite anemones (and nail varnish), but I attached it under the paler silk so it can't really be seen in the photos.
I don't make the same rookie mistakes on clients' bouquets because (normally) 2 hours before the ceremony I'm not running around in my dressing gown like a crazy woman, flowering up a venue while the make up artist waits patiently for me to conclude my business!
