We bought a kayak for fishing. I wasn't sure if I was going to like it, but I absolutely loved it.
Last night, I was aching so much, I couldn't sleep at all. I think I was also on a bit of a high too.

Following on from the success of the "Sunflowers for Ukraine" cards earlier on in the year, I've decided to ask you to support CHAS - Children's Hospices Around Scotland.

As you know, our beautiful niece Faye passed away a short time ago. She spent some time with her Mum and Dad, at Robin House and it was a privilege to have been able to be with them.

During her time there, Faye did lots of arts and crafts. Just one of her many talents. The subject of this card is a Christmas bauble that she made. One for her Mum and Dad, and for Uncle David and I. It hangs in our living room. Her Mum, Elaine, very kindly granted me permission to produce an imagine from Faye's artwork that would enable us to give a little something back to everyone at CHAS.

CHAS have very kindly supplied me with their logo for the cards and huge thanks to Minuteman Press Helensburgh for kindly offering to share the printing costs with me.

This is a pack of 4 cards. All the same design, blank inside. £10 a pack which will include postage if you require it.

Hello everyone. Today, I'm announcing two things. Stay with me, please.

Firstly, this year's Christmas Cards are now available and I'll post the item shortly for you to see.

Secondly, I'm having a big sale. I'm not calling it a closing down sale, but I'm most definitely taking a break from painting. I'll call it regrouping. Perhaps less dramatic than chucking in the towel (and won't I look stupid if I suddenly bounce back? Well... that)!

You'll possibly see some of my work for sale via different charities coming up to Christmas. This is because I'll be mostly donating my stock to them to benefit others.

Anything I'm selling via Shopify though, for transparency, is for my own business.

I'm not doing the whole goodbye thing, but I do want to thank you for the last 3 years. I could never have imagined that you would want to buy my artwork, but you have. That's means everything to me. Thanks ❤️
