❤️ For a beautiful soul, Karen ❤️
Today my heart is heavy as I write this.
I had the privilege of supporting a beautiful soul, Karen, at the festival, and through her I also met her gorgeous friend, who has now become a wonderful friend to me too. I’m so grateful for the kindness, love and friendship that came from that connection. ❤️
Karen sadly lost her battle with cancer just an hour ago. She struggled so much at the end with pain, and although my heart hurts knowing she has gone, I take comfort in knowing that she is no longer suffering. She is at peace now. 🕊️❤️
This weekend has felt very different for me. I’m there to support people, to give them a safe space where they can talk, let go, breathe, or even cry. But there are always two sides to what we see in this world.
We go about our days working, wanting more, worrying about things, judging situations and sometimes getting caught up in what feels important in the moment.
But please, stop for a moment and think about the people around us who may be fighting battles we know nothing about.
People facing end-of-life journeys.
People living with anxiety or depression.
People who are emotionally exhausted, angry, scared or heartbroken.
People living with pain.
People who have nothing.
People who have lost everything.
People who are terminally ill.
Adults and children who are simply trying to get through another day.
Sometimes we forget just how much someone else may be carrying.
So please… be kind. ❤️
Be supportive.
Be helpful.
Be understanding.
And most of all, be there.
Lend a hand.
Listen without judging.
Give someone a safe space to talk.
Sit beside someone who is struggling.
Let someone cry if they need to.
You never know how much that small act of kindness might mean to them.
Life is precious, and we never truly know what someone else is going through behind their smile.
Karen, thank you for being a beautiful soul and for crossing my path. May you finally be free from pain and rest peacefully. You will be remembered with love. ❤️🕊️
And to her beautiful friend, thank you for your kindness and for becoming such a wonderful friend. ❤️
Be kind. Always. You never know whose life you might touch. ❤️
